A new week

Starting off the new week with a bang. Going to be having neck surgery on my C5-6-7 and getting replacements and a fusion. Should be interesting. I wonder how it will go.. I wonder if there will be errors. I am nervous yet relieved to have this problem resolved. My son came home this weekend to visit so that took my mind off things. I guess we'll see how it goes. Well off to relax and watch reruns of torchwood. Blessed be all.

Family

My son moved out recently. Sad really.  I miss him-my husband thinks I need therapy b/c I sit and mope and cry. He moved to his dad's 4 hours away. To try a new school/environment. He wanted to go. I didn't want him to, but you must let them spread their wings and fly. I hated it. It has been half the school year and now I find that it isn't so bad. I don't miss the dirty clothes everywhere, the loud tv, video games. I don't miss the talking back, the 300.00 food bill. LOL. I do miss however, the laughter, the fun, the piles of teens invading my house and the chatter of their day. Hug your kids every day. Tell them you love them even if they say "Mooooommmmm" .

Television

Whatever happened to sitcoms? Reality t.v. has taken over. Quite frankly, I try to escape from reality with t.v. every now and then.
